The Brotherhood Fund: mutual aid for divorced dads

Men helping men includes money when it is tight. The Brotherhood Fund lets members give toward another father's child support and lets dads in a crisis ask for hardship help.

What you can do

  • Contribute to the fund. Gifts go to United Under God, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3). 90% goes to helping dads; 10% covers card processing, operations, and programs.
  • Find a support partner: another father with a similar child support obligation, where each of you can direct part of your contribution to the other.
  • Apply for emergency hardship assistance for things like legal fees or crisis expenses. Each request is reviewed.

What this is, and is not

Brotherhood Fund gifts are donations. They may help another dad with child support when funds are available. Matching is not guaranteed, assistance is not guaranteed, and none of it replaces your legal child-support obligation. We do not promise that you will receive money back or come out ahead on taxes; ask a tax advisor what, if anything, is deductible for you.
